St Hilda take passengers (couples, solos, groups and families) from
Dunstaffnage Marina to the Outer and Inner Hebrides – beautiful,
unspoiled coastlines of spectacular sea lochs, stunning Hebridean
landscapes and incredible wildlife. In the summer months the days are
long and the nights are short allowing even more time to enjoy the
wonderful wildlife and scenery.

Anchoring in the most sheltered, idyllic safe havens where passengers can visit world famous malt whisky distilleries and remote Scottish islands such as St Kilda, Mull, Skye, Jura, Islay, Staffa and Iona. The magical Scottish seas are full of wildlife both above and below the waves. You can fish, swim, dive, set lobster pots and sail the sea and its lochs and marvel at the dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks, otters, sea eagles, myriads of sea birds and the occasional whale. Each day is as action packed or as relaxing as you please.

St Hilda have four small ships are authentic, traditional vessels: Seahorse II (maximum 11 guests), a Norwegian ferry that plied the rough North Sea and the fjords of Norway; Gemini Explorer (maximum 8 guests), a cruising lifeboat that spent days at sea in the Western Approaches; Speideren (maximum 8 guests), a Norwegian rescue ship that worked the unpredictable waters of the North and Arctic Seas, rescuing and towing many a crippled vessel; and St Hilda (maximum 6 guests), a sail training vessel that raced across the North Sea on a number of occasions with merchant navy cadet officers being trained under highly experienced Master Mariners. All four small ships have been converted to cruise the western islands of Scotland in comfort and style.
